Beading Wire Earrings

24

I have made these earrings off and on over the past couple of years. I have made many of them but I do not recall ever doing them as a project! Using the Beadalon metallic satin copper and satin silver beading wire adds color and interest. So on this weeks Karla Kam with I will demonstrate how to make these fabulous earrings using a little wire, couple of crimps and beads of course! www.auntiesbeads.com

Very lovely. I have noticed similar earrings in department stores and the mall, only they have more than one strand, so it has mulitple loops. But yours are much more professional looking.

very pretty.. quick question. You said any beads would work, so would pony beads work as well? They have bigger holes so I am not sure. going to make a pair for each of my friends who are graduating from college this year.

I made a pair, following this tutorial, and LOVED them. I gave them to a pal, and she said they looked like something I’d buy in a department store! Thanks, Karla!

A great video, you are a great instructor, keep up the good work. I have tried this once and made some mistakes, but I am still working on my technique.

sassy21gg @ 6:05 pm #

How can I do this with 2 or 3 strands?

Excellent idea, sure beats making simple rosary loops for ends that always seem to open up and everything falls off.

I suggest you use a darker background when showing lighter pieces…I could not see your work…Your lighting is way too bright…Otherwise…I’m using this one…Thanks….
